My item is a painting that has been in my family for more that 12 years. All I really know is that it's an original painting.

My Grandpa was in the military. The military gave him 1,5,10 and 25 dollar to spend at the PX (the military store). He was in the military in 1967-1968. The 1,5,10 and 25 are American. The rest he got down town in Xion loc. He spent his money on pop and souviners. Pop was 10 cents and t-shirts were $2. He was a combat engineer and he built roads, airstrips, restroom and barracks. The 1000 yen is from Japan were he went on R and R (rest and relaxation). The 1000 yen is worth 12 dollars in American.

I found an autograph from Bob Friend, a Tuskegee airman. Its pretty cool.
