 Monday 11/28 In reading today some of us worked on tapping out the sounds in words, some worked with onset rime puzzles and some of us worked on matching beginning sounds. We listened to the book On the Go, an expository text that taught us about the different ways people get around in different parts of the world. Have your child tell you about some of the unusual ways some people get around. The morning class worked on an "On Demand" writing piece. This is a piece that the children work on by themselves without any help from me. The afternoon class learned and played the game "Growing Train" a game that provides practice with counting and concrete addition.
