Thanks & Giving
I saw many things in the news and on several different tv programs, as well as our assembly this past week which reminded me even more about things to be thankful for. Since this is the season for giving and thanks, I thought we could stop and think about what we are really thankful for because we don’t always do that. What are you thankful for? Come up with at least three things and why you are thankful for them.
Some things that come to my mind are my family, my profession, and my country. I am truly lucky to have both my kids and parents who are healthy and able to do what they want to do in life. I am lucky to be able to enjoy and be with them all the time! I enjoy my job and enjoy those who I work with- both kids and adults. I am truly blessed to work where I do. I don't know that other professions are as engaging and rewarding as this one! Finally, with all that goes on in our world, I must say that I am so thankful for the country I live in and for those who sacrifice to make and keep our country what it is! The assembly we had last week was a great reminder of what individuals and families as well, do for us all!
I’m looking forward to seeing what you are thinking!
I'm thankful for eveything

I am thankful for family, friends, shelter, food, love, and support. I am thankful for my family because they are there for me when I need them and, they are there during rough times. The reason why I'm thankful for friends is because, they make feel joyful and happy. They are also there for me when I need them. I'm thankful for support because, with it I definitely wouldn't be where I am today. Thank you Mrs. Lubich for letting us comment on your blog. I am from Mrs Gutsmiedl 7th grade, gifted, ELA class.

Of course, I am thankful for my friends and family that are great to me. I am very thankful for my parents for all they give to me, be it possessions (a phone, money) or even just love and patience while dealing with my afterschool activities and so on. I am also thankful for my brother in law, Prashant Arasanagi, who is from India. He always makes everything brighter in my life as well as my sister’s. And finally, I am thankful for my close friends, who will always be there for me when I need them. Friends will bicker, but never really lose favor with you. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to write on your blog.

I am thankful for my family because they have supported me and have cared for me through out my whole life and continue to do so. I am also thankful for being able to sit down at the table and eat a family meal every night. I am thankful for this because a lot of children and families do not get to eat every night, wich is very sad. The last thing i'm thankful for is my one friend that I can trust with anything and everything about me, and I am thankful for this person because there are very few people like that in this world and I happen to have one as a friend.

I'm thankful for the mom that wakes me up in the morning, the house I live in, the family that loves me, and the friends that help me through school. I'm thankful for my mom because she's always there when there is a problem that I need help solving. I 'm thankful for my home, as it is a place I can relax and, well, come "home" to. Lastly, I'm thankful for all my friends who help me every step of they way through school and other daily events.

I am thankful for my friends, family, and life. I have a lot to be thankful for because a lot of families don't have anything to be thankful for, but they are still thankful.

I am thankful for my friends, they always keep me laughing, on my toes, and endlessly occupied with their crazy antics. I am also thankful for my techers, who do so much for me and help me learn skills I will need very much in later life. One more thing that I'm thankful for: all the people who have helped me through my life and all my troubles. And thank you ,Mrs' Lubich, for allowing us to comment on your blogs!

I am thankful for my friends, family, and my animation program. I am thankful for my friends because school would be very boring without them. I am thankful for my family because I would be nowhere without them. I am thankful for my animation program, because animation is mostly what I do in my spare time.

I am thankful for my friends, my family, and I am thankful that I'm lucky enough to live in America. Without my friends, I wouldn't be who I am and I know I can trust every single one of them. My friends are part of what makes my days so wonderful and they have helped me become more outgoing and have taught me not to care about what other people thought because they don't matter. I am thankful for my family because they will never leave me and always encourage my decisions and ideas. They have helped me my whole life and I can't imagine life without them. I am thankful to live in America for many reasons. When I think about it, there ar children in Africa who are starving right now and there are so many people in the world trying to break away from dictatorship and failing at becoming a free country. Also, there are actually people in our country who are willing to risk their lives in order to save our lives and to save our country.

I am thankful for my friends because they give me someone to talk to in a time of need. I am thankful for my family because they put a roof over my head and they are always there for my. I am also thankful for my enemies or people I don't like. I am thankful for them because when ever they do something I don't like I get stronger by pulling through it. That is what I am thankful for and a big thanks to Mrs. Lubich for letting us use your blog!

I am thankful for my family, friends, and the things I have. Im thankful for my family, because they help support me through anything i do or any problem I have. I have to say I am thankful for my friends for the same reason; my friends are like family to me. I am also so very thankful for the things I have, because I know there are other people are not as fortunate as I am.

I am thankful for many things, but I am most thankful for my family, my friends, and my health. My friends and family help me to preservere through the tough times and encourage me to try my hardest. Without my health I would not be able to do the things I love to do, like draw and learn at school.

I'm thankful for my friends, family, and life. There may be tough spots with all of those things but I wouldn't treade any of it for the world. My friends are there for me every day when I need someone to taalk to or if I'm just bored. My family may not be the best but they know exactly what I mean when I say something that no one else would understand. And life is just the best gift you can give. My life may not ever truly be perfect but it certantly feels that way.

Hi Mrs. Lubich! I'm in Mrs. G.'s class from Louisiana. I really enjoy your blog page. The green looks really nice against the black and the bear at the top of the page stands out from the rest of the page because of the brown in it.
I really enjoy art. Band, math, science and theatre are also some of my other strong points. I am in the Boy Scouts. I am currently one rank away from Second Class (third out of seven levels). I enjoy the camping feature and going outdoors with all of the nature aroung me. (Hey, look! There's one thing that I'm thankful for!)
Even though i love all of the nature and the outdoors, I also am thankful for the technology. I can't see myself cooking in a clay stove where the food has been covered in mud to steam. IPods, ipads, computers, cell phones, T.V.'s, electricity, lighting, color, manufacturing and good clothes are all very nice things that come from technology.
The third thing that I'm thankful for is a tie between my family and my school. All of my family members are great. My mom, my dad, my mom's mom and dad, my dad's mom and dad, my dad's brothers and sisters are all great. they are nice and make good food. Yes, i said it, they make good food. Make a trip down to Louisiana and you'll see. (This is a combonation of a joke and for real-they're food is amazing).
My school is also great. I have so many friends over there. I have at least 20 or 30 friends. It is great. What's best is that I just have to be myself. They also teach me boring things and interesting things. No matter what, it will all pay off. Someday, I will squirm my way into using equationas and algebra into the career of being an author.
Unlikely?
Yes.
Possible?
Yes.
Fun things include band, art, theatre, science, math and social studies. They both keep me busy and intertained. Don't worry though, ELA is also a good subject.
That is not all that I'm thankful for, but those are my top three. Thanks for letting me blog!

I am thankful for my family, for my friends, and for the benefit of being able to gather with my famliy on Thanksgiving Day. I am thankful for my famliy because without them I would not be where I am today. I am thankful for my friends because they help me learn so much about other people as well as myself. I am thankful for being able to gather with my family because I don't see them very often, but on Thanksgiving we all see each other again.

Some of the things I am most thankful for are my friends, family, and for country. I think these are the most important and they go down to the basic level of the things and people in our lives. Our family is always there to help us and be there for us. Friends are there when you need a laugh or you need someone to help you through a tough spot. And county because America is the greatest place in the world. We can have jobs, rights, and we can own things. Some people in other countries don't have that, and I think a lot of the time we take it for granted how much we have. P.S. I am in Ms. Gutsmiedl's class.

I am thankful for all my necessities, God, and my family as well. I am lucky to have a beautiful home, clothes, food, and all the things in between. I can't be thankful enough for God. He has done a lot of things for me and I realized that I don't thank him for all those things all the time. I am definitely thankful for my family because, honestly, I don't know where I would be right now, without them. They mean everything to me.

I am thankful for my friends, my family, and my teachers. I am thankful for my friends because, they always make my school day a little bit better, and they are always there for me, through thick and thin. I am thankful for my family because, no matter what I do, they will always be there for me. I am thankful for my teachers because, without them, I would be as dumb as a doornail! Also, thank you Mrs. Lubich, for letting us comment.

I am thankful for my family, my education, and books. My family supports me through tough times, celebrates when I do something good, and always goes to my soccer games-which are very important to me. My education has helped and will help me excel though life. I will get a good job out of it and maybe even invent something! Books keep me entertained when I am done with my work and they are like a seperate best friend. I am also VERY thankful for my friends. They too help me through tough times and they always are by my side. They are my memories and experiences combined into people: my friends.

Three things that I am thankful for are: my family, my friends and the house I share with my family. I am thankful for my family, because they are the people I go to when I need help with anything. They are there for me if I need help with homework or if I need help with understanding something I was taught that day or any other day. I am thankful for my friends, because I know they can keep all my secrets. Also, they are the one to cheer me up when something goes wrong in my life. I'm there for them like they are there for me. I am more than lucky to have the house I share with my wonderful family. To people that have never been to my house, they love it and say it is huge! To me, I think it is boring and small, and sometimes I even want to move to a different house. Then I get to thinking, some people don't even have a house, and here I am being greedy and wanting to move to a different one. So, Those are the main three things I am thankful for.
