IWD It is March 8, 2011 I just came back from school, I looked at my Email there was a message from my mom that asked me: It is Internationals Women’s Day do you want to go for hot chocolate? And talk about it @ a café?” Boring I thought then I said give it a try so I did. When we went to the café she pulled out an article about IWD [Internationals Women’s Day] I read it and found out that IWD is not that boring. I also found out new information like women produce 80% of the work over the devolving countries but only get 10 % of the land! And just because of gender women are not taking higher positions and are also treated very badly. Women are scared to be sidelined again even after the revolution, they are scared because the army of Egypt still didn’t say anything about it, then we went to see a documentary about Internationals Women’s Day. It was called “Kulina Lil Watan “by Carol Mansur. At the beginning I almost fell asleep, and then it caught my attention that it is really tough to be those people. There was a woman who couldn’t afford her children after the father died so she sent them to an orphanage!
