i know why! cause you want us to know that mutiplication doesn't come before division, they're the same. Also with addition, it doesn't come before subtraction, they're the same. (ps i knew this a while ago, like right when mrs. tewksbury asked but i didn't posy it.) =)

aw, mrs tewksbury, ur not that strictat all. trust me, in tunkhannock, u would be considered one of the NICEST of them all. and plus u have something uncommon in tunkhannock teachers. a sense of humor. so really, ur not that strict at all. btw, my pedmsa thing is posted on my profile thing.

Don't we need one for pedmsa because division and multiplication are the same and so are addition and subtraction? It doesn't matter if you multiply before you divide and you don't have to add before you subtract.

Because it is usually pemdas u switch the md multiply and divide and as add and subtract to shoew that there is no difference in the order of them.
